Announcing WHOOP 4.0

WHOOP 4.0 combines our latest technology with an improved design, advanced coaching, and all-new health monitoring. Welcome to the next generation of WHOOP. iframe{max-width:100% !important;}

Smaller Sensor with New Capabilities, Waterproof Battery Pack

The new WHOOP 4.0 is 33% smaller than the 3.0. It has 4x the number of photodiodes and 5 LEDs, including green, red, and infrared light-emitting diodes for enhanced accuracy. It also includes haptic technology to wake you up without a noisy alarm--it transmits light vibrations to make waking up more refreshing and less intrusive to those around you.

The 4.0 battery pack is a smaller, smarter, and waterproof wireless charger. There’s no longer any need to worry about wearing it in the shower, and it also lets you know how much power it has left.

SuperKnit Bands with Fast Link

The new SuperKnit band is the most comfortable and durable band we’ve made yet, available in dozens of colors. And now, changing bands has never been easier as our Fast Link system allows you to quickly slide them on and off the sensor.

And here’s pro golfer Nick Watney sharing a personal story of why monitoring respiratory rate is so valuable in the time of COVID-19:

Health Monitor

With an overview featured directly on the app home page, the new Health Monitor displays key vitals all in one place, including live heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, and two metrics new to the WHOOP 4.0: Blood oxygen level and skin temperature.

The Health Monitor displays Your key physiological metrics.

If any of these metrics are outside of your typical baseline range, the Health Monitor uses a color-coded system (green, orange and red) to alert you that something may be amiss. Additionally, the Health Monitor allows you to download PDFs showing 30-day and 180-day trend reports of your stats that can be shared with a coach, trainer or physician.

Sleep Planner with Haptic Alerts

The Sleep Planner with haptic alerts has three options to gently and silently wake you up based on your sleep needs--either at an exact time of your choosing, when you’ve hit your desired sleep goal, or when your recovery is in the green.

WHOOP Body Featuring Any-Wear™ Technology

WHOOP Body with Any-Wear Technology lets you wear your WHOOP 4.0 in multiple places around your body. This revolutionary new system is the first step in making wearable technology invisible.

We are releasing two WHOOP Body collections--our Training Collection featuring sports bras, compression tops, leggings, shorts, and athletic boxers, and our Intimates Collection which includes bralettes and everyday boxers. In all of these garments, the WHOOP sensor slides into a discrete pod that holds it close to your skin and seamlessly allows it to capture your data. WHOOP Live Broadcast Integration

Something we love to do at WHOOP is celebrate iconic moments in sports. By integrating performance data directly into live sports broadcasts and replays, we’re adding an entirely different dimension to live sports.

Plus, all of our members have WHOOP Live right in the app. You can tap the camera icon in the menu bar to overlay real-time data onto your own videos and share them on social media with the hashtag #WHOOPLive! Here’s American track-and-field star and Olympic silver and bronze medalist Gabby Thomas:
