How January Jumpstart Works

January Jumpstart runs January 5 through February 1. Your goal: Stick to your Weekly Plan each week and aim for 100% completion.

This challenge isn’t about comparison or competition. It’s about giving yourself a plan   and using WHOOP to help turn intention into action.

How to Join

You can join right in the WHOOP app by setting your Long Game Weekly Plan. On the challenge page in the app, you’ll see three ways to create your plan:

  1. Choose your recommended plan Based on your data, behaviors, and what WHOOP sees in your trends.
  2. Tell WHOOP your goals WHOOP will create a plan that matches what you want to focus on.
  3. Choose from pre-built plans Options like Get Stronger, Improve Sleep, Build Better Recovery, or Try Dry.

Plans are flexible. You can set what works for your life right now, and for the one you’re building.

How to Participate

Once your plan is set, the goal is simple. Show up for it. Every week. For four weeks.

Why don’t I see the challenge in my app? Make sure your app is updated to the latest version. If you still don’t see it, check that you have enough Recoveries logged.

I missed the January 5 start date. Can I still join? Yes. You can join any time in January. Your four-week plan will start as soon as you commit.

Is there a prize this year? No traditional prize. The focus is on momentum, consistency, and long-term health — not competition.

I’m new to WHOOP. Can I join? Yes, once you have 7 days of data to unlock Weekly Plan.
